    Chromic Acid Extra Pure refers to a chromium(VI)-containing acidic oxidizing material used in controlled chemistry activities. Its strong oxidizing behavior makes it relevant to demonstrations of oxidation reactions and selected inorganic chemistry concepts.

    Because chromium(VI) compounds present significant health and environmental hazards, educational use requires careful risk assessment, suitable engineering controls, trained supervision, and appropriate waste management. Such practical work is generally better suited to properly equipped college and university teaching laboratories than routine school activities.
